Patrick Clark, short for Charles Raleigh Patrick Clark III was born on March 25th, 1990 in Las Vegas, NV. Born to parents Pat and Dee Clark, Patrick was surrounded by a supportive family who got Patrick involved in racing young. Growing up surrounded by the success of the family business allowed for Patrick to experience racing and gave him a solid foundation on which to build his own racing career.
Patrick began racing bandaleros at age 11. At age 12 Patrick moved into a Jr. Dragster and go-karts. At age 13, Patrick took a break from racing and began shooting trap professionally for three years while training for the Olympics. At age 16 Patrick began racing WORC Series, while also winning the championship in WERA Super-Moto.
At age 20 Patrick started racing Super-Lite where he would begin his off-road racing career and get his first experience of organized off-road racing. He quickly advanced into a Pro-2 at age 21 and has remained a Pro-2 competitor in Lucas Oil Off-Road Race Series to this day. In 2011 at age 22 Patrick earned his very first Lucas oil Rookie of the Year in Super-Lite. It was also in this same year and age that Patrick would move into the Pro-2 from Super-Lite divisions at Lucas Oil racing series.
In his first full season behind the wheel of his Pro-2 Patrick claimed Lucas Oil Rookie of the Year honors, fasted lap award, not to mention finishing 9th in points for the series in his class championship. Patrick’s consistency behind the wheel, as a rookie has caught the eye of fans and people are paying attention to the young talent.
In the 2013 Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series, just his second year in Pro-2, Patrick Clark finished 5th in the Points Championship. With the successful season Patrick had he caught the eye of Loan Mart and received his first title sponsorship for the 2014 race season.
Outside of racing Patrick enjoys any adrenaline rush with his friends and working on his toys and own race vehicles. During the off season Patrick enjoys spending time with his family and friends, staying in shape, and planning for the up coming season both on and off the track. Patrick enjoys any opportunity he has to be in a seat getting seat time to help him train to become a champion.
