RENO, Nev. (Aug. 22, 2014) – Following his fifth-place finish at Round 10 of the 2014 Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORS) held at Glen Helen Raceway, Patrick Clark continues to make adjustments that lead to improving results. During Thursday’s practice session for Rounds 11 & 12, to be held at the Wild West Motorsports Park in Sparks, Nevada, Clark’s LoanMart-sponsored Pro 2-class race truck made gains that will deliver even better results through the weekend’s racing.
“Practice went really well,” said Patrick Clark, driver of the #25 Pro 2 Class truck. “We made some small changes to the truck’s front end to speed up the steering. It felt great, and we’ll make some other adjustments before racing Friday night.”
Prior to Rounds 9 & 10, Clark and his team switched trucks, moving back to the old Pro 2 truck they used in the 2013 season. Built by Billy and Robbie Goerke of Collins Motorsports, Clark’s “old” Pro 2 race truck is now the team’s choice for the remainder of the 2014 LOORS season.
“I’m super excited about racing at the Wild West track this weekend,” said Clark. “It’s definitely one of the fastest tracks. It will really let me put the pedal to the metal and see what my truck can do.”
